Hated to hear this morning that Bobby Lord has passed away.
Bobby has pretty much been unseen around Nashville in recent years. He retired to his native Florida the year I was born. He hosted a syndicated television show in the 60′s and was also a host on TNN’s “Celebrity Outdoors” in the 80′s.

I am truly sorry to learn of Bobby Lord’s passing. He recorded a song that a good friend of mine wrote many years ago called “Fall Away”. My friend had it stolen from him and somebody got it to Bobby, but of course Bobby had no idea of where it really came from. Bobby was a good singer and I enjoy watching old tapes of him. It is sad to see the old ones leaving us. He was a good one.

I am trying to find a CD with Fall Away on it. There are 4 couples celebrating their “50 Year Anniversary” this year including my husband and I. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
