Loved George Carlin. Just loved him. Ok so yeah, he’d hurt my feelings when he’d diss the Lawd and all, however, everything he said was pretty well thought out and I admired how comfortable he was with it. Never agreed with that part…however…a lot of what he said here, I’m down with.
The man who I allowed to knock me out and operate on my nose, Dr. Tom Holzen,(who is also perhaps one of the best Bluegrass fans around) could pass for George’s twin.

I don’t think George dissed God so much as dissed organized religion in general. Of course, some may not see the difference. Either way, a COMEDIAN got us talking about the subject and that’s just another part of his genius.
Sure he did…he was the first one I heard call God the “Imaginary Friend in the Sky.”

But when they talk about religion and the man in the sky with the white beard and the robe, everyone is very reverent and which one is really more absurd?
