It has been an exhausting weekend and I can’t remember the last time I was as physically tired as I was last night when I laid down to go to bed, but, this last 48 hour period has, without a doubt, been one of the most surreal, unbelievable two days of my life. It all hasn’t sunk in yet.
This right here…is my Special Happy Place.

/getting all verklempt
Well, the decorating talent in the family was not sprinkled on me. My mother and my sister both have that decorating gene and the Sister gets the credit on that. The decorations, pictures, etc, were mine (there are a couple new things) and had I been left to my own devices to place them. I gair-un-tee it wouldn’t have looked like that. My brudda in law is also a master picksha hanger (must be the Engineer in him)
My sister is a hoss when it comes to gittin it done. She is not afraid to give orders and make you hop to it. She is large (not anymore) and in charge.
It’s beautiful and I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it. We started our living room do-over today and it’s still in the “looks like crap” stage.
